Set in England in a rotting future. The mood/genre should feel film noir.
10% Indian, 30% Futurism/cyberpunk,
35% Industrial, 25% Victorian.
The Indian represents the mystic, as well as the collage of culture placed within this lost future.
The cyberpunk is the technology set upon preexisting individuals. The witches and monsters use technology, but they are not themselves robotic. In a similar manner older buildings are outfitted with neon.
Industry is the suffering of the people. Smothered charcoal air, everything is blackened with soot. Older, mechanical machines run the thinner fiber optic devices. It’s a parallel to the mechanical man running the ‘robot’.
The Victorian is very worn. It brings an odd, neo like gothic grounding to the world. Obviously the rich still exist, but in smaller numbers.
This world is dark; the sky is covered in billows of smoke that imitate large rain clouds. Combined with banks of fog on the ground the place is very much like a drowned city. Its ambiance is akin to the open ocean.
